We are pleased to join Intel at the DEG EnTech 2023 taking place on March 29 in Los Angeles. EnTech is an exciting opportunity for content distribution and marketing executives, platform partners, technology enablers, trend trackers, connected device and display developers, and all innovators across the digital entertainment ecosystem, including DEG member studios and platforms, to come together and discuss the latest advancements in digital entertainment technology.
iSIZE is thrilled to join Intel for this event and will be showcasing its advanced solutions, BitSave and BitClear, on Intel Xeon Scalable processors. BitSave is an AI-based perceptual pre-processing solution that enhances conventional, third-party encoders to produce higher quality video at lower bitrates. The solution enables businesses to sustainably supply a seamless customer experience while quickly adopting more efficient codecs. BitClear, on the other hand, is an AI-based video processing solution that effectively denoises and upscales low-resolution video assets. The solution removes compression artifacts such as blurring, blocking, ringing, and aliasing from user-generated or heavily compressed content.
Recently, we released our first performance results taking advantage of the new Intel architecture developed for the 4th Gen Intel Xeon Scalable processor. Called Advanced Matrix Extensions (Intel AMX), the new design allows AI-based video processing like iSIZE BitClear to be performed entirely within the CPU, avoiding the latency, energy and cost overheads of linking to a GPU or other external accelerator.
