Advanced machine learning is beginning to disrupt content and iSIZE believes it will enable such advanced technologies to enter the market in a manner that is backward compatible to existing video encoding and transport standards.

Sergio Grce, MSc

CEO & Founder

Sergio Grce holds an MSc in Investment Management and a First Class Hons BSc in Economics. During his 12-year investment banking career, Sergio worked for some of the largest investment banks, including Merrill Lynch, Nomura, Royal Bank of Scotland and Jeffries. In 2016, through Sergio’s strong interest in AI technologies, as well as its applications for video imaging, art and gaming, iSIZE was formed utilising Sergio’s leadership, ability in bringing a strong network and teams together, leading both technical and commercial operations.

Yiannis Andreopoulos, PhD

CTO & Co - Founder

Yiannis Andreopoulos has 20 years’ experience in video coding and machine learning, with 150+ research papers, several patent applications, 10 contributions to JPEG/MPEG standards and extensive engagement with industry in consulting and advisory roles. As CTO of iSIZE Technologies, he is dedicated to challenging the video delivery industry to see how deep neural networks can enhance and accelerate existing video coding standards for internet video.

Earlier in his career, Charles was CEO of the Rhodes Trust, senior advisor the Gordon & Betty Moore Foundation, and a partner of McKinsey & Company. Chris was a Venture Partner 2014-2018 at Octopus Ventures. He was one the original advisors and Venture Partners at Entrepreneur First. Chris was the founding director of the Venture Capital Unit for the UK Government where he promoted UK VC and direct investment opportunities to investors in the US and Asia, successfully attracting over $1B.
