iSize Team

We are a team of 5 PhDs in video signal processing, machine learning and advanced networking systems, including two members who are University Professors in these areas. Advanced machine learning is now beginning to disrupt content delivery (albeit at its very nascent stages at the moment), and we believe we are the right team to allow for such advanced technologies to enter the market in a manner that is backward compatible to existing video encoding and transport standards. The CEO has an extensive background in finance, investments and business development.

We managed to deliver current technology with a very compact yet experienced team that includes a good mixture of very senior research and development staff with international experience and junior developers who have commitment to fast delivery.

Sergio Grce, MSc
CEO

Sergio Grce holds an MSc from Cass Business School, London, UK in Investment Management and First Class Hons BSc in Economics from City University, London. During his 12-year investment banking career, Sergio worked for some of the largest investment banks, including Merrill Lynch, Nomura, Royal Bank of Scotland and Jeffries, where he focused on debt deal origination, trading and advisory.

Yiannis Andreopoulos, PhD
CTO

Yiannis Andreopoulos has 17 years of experience in video coding and machine learning, with 150+ research papers, 3 patent applications, 10 contributions to JPEG/MPEG standards and extensive engagement with industry in consulting and advisory roles. He is also Associate Professor (Reader) in Data and Signal Processing Systems at University College London (currently on sabbatical leave).

Djordje Djokovic holds a PhD from Cass Business School, London, UK and graduated top of class as a Dipl. Ing. in mechanical engineering at the RWTH Aachen, Germany. He has worked for the past 12 years as a high frequency derivatives trader in London, Chicago and Sydney. His main area of expertise is the application of advanced machine learning methods in real time and latency sensitive systems.
